There are just days when you want to break down and let it all out. Listen to a song that expresses what you feel right now (as I'm no songwriter) and hug pillows, and probably bore yourself to sleep.
Today marks the first day of my third week as a university student! Class was from 7.30 AM until 11.20 AM, but our lecturer let us out early, so we were out by 10.30 or 10.45 :)
Color theory can be boring, but at the same time, it is very intriguing because our teacher lets us see the magic of color. Today was about colors in plants and animals, and a little bit of science, like how the color of the flower attracts insects who will help pollenate the flower itself or maybe other flowers.
After class was over, me and some of my classmates went over to a nearby mall, Senayan City, which is only about 2-minute walk from the back lobby of my university. Whenever we Art & Design students gather around, we always entertain each other in many ways! I don't think there has been one time, when we gathered and there was no big laughter. There always had to be!
Then, I went to my friend Dela's place near the university, about 5-minute walk. She rented a room near here because her house is very far from the university, and I came over because I wasn't sure my driver would be picking me up soon. Apparently my little bro is not in a very good condition, so, since I got my homework done, I might as well spend some quality time with my friend <3 and below is the pictures we took ;D
I liked my make up today, very minimal cause I was too lazy to put on eyeliner... So today was only moisturizer, mascara and brow pencil! I even forgot to put on concealer. Thank God my eye lashes are quite long now, compared to my previously non-existent lashes! Even with mascara I don't think my lashes will show up in pictures back then T_T so on special occasions I will have to rely on falsies.
I have pictures of my lash conditioner at home (I'm using my friend's laptop right now) and I might put up an entry of it later... if I remember! HEHE *v*
Anyways, ta-ta-for-now! I wanna eat something cos I'm hungry.

I wanted to make a post on my eye makeups, but it's late at night and I have to get up early tomorrow. Sigh.
Today's not a very nice day, at least to me. Not happy.
The only good news is perhaps only that I have finished my homework which is actually due the day after tomorrow. So no last minute work! Can get some beauty sleep tomorrow.. I hope.
I'm starting to like writing again. I used to write one fan fiction of Naruto, but now that my views have changed a lot and well, in short, I just grew up. I may make an account in FictionPress :D
Same problem haunts me until now though, PROCRASTINATION. Bad habit, super bad habit, super duper bad habit. But it clings to me like glue.

| A bit obvious isn't it? T_T |
Ok, so what I'm trying to show is , notice how my left(my left) lashes are a bit longer than the other? T___T
I've been using a lash conditioner to lengthen my natural lashes, and in the end..... one is longer and one is shorter. """oTL
Why? Because my lids are super "hooded", my right eyelid practically absorbs the conditioner cause when I open my eyes the lid kinda covers the part where the base/roots of my lashes are..... while on the right lash the lid doesn't cover as much.

| Different eyelid! |
1. When applying eye liner, PRECISENESS is key. Too much eye liner will result in very much unwanted smudging.
2. Cheap eyeshadow and expensive eyeshadow really shows. When I use cheap eyeshadow, there isn't even VISIBLE color when my eyes are open and they don't stay for long. Why? I blink. It's human to blink, right?!? However, blinking will cause smudging in my case, so cheap eyeshadow will disappear at the end of the day... for me. I'm currently using Dior's 5-Couleurs Iridescent Palette and the color stays! MAGIC!
3. Another thing, because my eyes are small, it's a bit hard to do smoky eyes, and PLUS, the hooded half-double lids just adds to the trouble. Why the hell are these eyes so hard to deal with GRRRR
There is, however, a YouTube make up guru, a Taiwanese! Who has the same kind of eyelids as I do:
http://www.youtube.com/fuzkittie
She explains things slowly and slowly, so I think most people would be able to understand her point. However, I think, in a video which shows her doing make up tutorial for hidden double-lid eyes, she was boring but anyways, she was helpful! I haven't watched a lot of her other videos, so I can't say she's boring at explaining...
I'm supposed to sleep now, and tomorrow I have a competition... Wish me luck lllllOrzz
Today was EPIC.
Unfortunately the details are not share-able in a blog, since it would mean embarrassing my friend to the whole blogosphere... but today is one of the few days where I laugh so damn much and.. damn loud :D
I love my friends in university... I should take more pictures with them and post them up here. I'm glad I have them as my classmates here in university, and after a year of being semi-ostracized in my high school senior year, I feel grateful to have new friends who accept me as who I am.
They won't think of me as strange for laughing too loud or for being too quiet and then bursting out laughing all of a sudden cause I think something's funny, for picking my nose? I don't know.
And finally, not in an all-girls community any more... 4 years of Catholic girls high school is enough. 3 years in my Indonesian high school, and another is my Taiwanese high school during my exchange.
Pending assignments list: color theory's 2 color wheels; subtractive and additive color wheels, drawing various kinds of lines (two top most troublesome assignments so far), Academic English's small homework, weekly sketchbook assessments...
What to read.. India and China and their influences on Indonesian art? Or the history itself. And then for computer graphics... I need to polish skills in Illustrator and Photoshop! SOBSOBSOB. I dislike Photoshop.. but sooner or later I will like it cause I'll be working with it for many years to come T____T
Somebody teach me how to make colorful optical illusions T_T the hardest project so far... I think. CREATIVITY PLEASE COME

Alice in Wonderland!
Never actually watched the cartoon, never actually read the original book, but all of a sudden I was interested in Alice in Wonderland!
I watched the movie, but I never read the book or watched the Disney cartoon, so my reaction was just: "Oh, okay"
If you saw my previous post, I had a sketch of Alice in Wonderland in my own style and version! Mature Alice, pretty Red Queen a.k.a. Queen of Hearts, no Knave of Hearts, Mad Hatter inspired by Terry Nell Morris' Mad Hatter (I google image'd it) and et cetera!
I'm supposed to read about Indian art history and also China's.... damn lazy. And since we weren't told to buy any textbooks yet, it's using internet to look for information and one of my distractions is... blogger. I feel like blogging all my unblogged previous big events... in my life! I'm more of a homebody, not a fan of crowds and clubs... I'll be blogging about my college life and my arts :D
Ok change of topic... a little? It has changed from Alice to what I'm supposed to do right now after all.. :p
My best friend uses tumblr, and I used to use one too, but I'm so lazy in updating... Blogspot is much more fun! My best friend taught me a lot about digital painting, especially with Paint Tool SAI program, and her drawings are very good too! She's more into digital painting now, while I still prefer the manual/traditional way, because I like making line arts! Dude, if someone commissioned me to ink their arts, I might as well do! With payment of course! :p
I have a collection of some of my line arts in my DeviantART, which I don't really open any more... http://rossel-inni.deviantart.com
I don't know if I exposed my arts enough in DA, but they prefer digital painting to traditional ones, so it's kinda hard if I want to get some constructive comments without getting... flamed? I never got flames so far as I remembered... but I might get unlucky too.

Today I had drawing class. Today's theme was: LINES.
Everything we drew were lines and lines and lines, if colored it would resemble an optical illusion. @___@
Last thing we had to draw was anything, but in 20 minutes it had to be finished. Quick drawing. I drew my original character in a more realistic way since I drew anime-style, but the lips and the nose turned out horrible... OH one thing, our rulers and erasers were confiscated since before we drew the lines, so we couldn't erase a thing... (I erased the nose once using the eraser on my mechanical pencil while the lecturer and ass. lecturer weren't looking though :p)
Aaand we got homework, which was drawing more lines.... great. Harder and needed to be perfected, or... be graded less than satisfying. I heard my drawing lecturer is not a generous person in grading..... so he's kinda strict I think! In terms of grading.
But today I got good news!
So, my university is having an event this Friday and Saturday. Their website is:
http://www.digitalartvolution.com
Registration's over, but anyone can come to Binus International this Friday and Saturday to come over and see the event!
I entered the competition for digital painting, in which the theme is custom folktale (Indonesian folktale), and chose "Timun Mas" folktale to be customized.
Reading a lot of Crayon Shinchan comics, and after one google image search, one image inspired me to do the picture above!
(Taken from http://kobem3n.blogspot.com)
On the left is the picture which inspired me to do a Crayon Shinchan version of Timun Mas. And I succeeded! I became one of the finalists thanks to the crazy idea... Thanks a lot Crayon Shinchan!
It was speedy painting, so it was messy and had a lot of white spots... I had to redraw the line art so some white spots can be covered. One thing I'm worried about is, as one of the finalists, I had to do live painting, watched by audiences... using Adobe Photoshop. I never liked Photoshop's inconvenient Undo button, unlike Paint Tool SAI's, and also the coloring system in Photoshop -_____- I'm screwed......
Oh, since for drawing class we had two sketch books, one for assignment and one for practicing drawing, I have something to show from my practice sketch book :)
Nature-themed is what describes most of my artworks. And females! I like drawing females and flowers the most, and drawing males is what I like the least. Most of the males I draw turn out like females because my hand's accustomed to drawing female anatomy T___T""
That's all for now! :D
